Stewed long stem artichokes


  • 8 Legnano Long stem artichokes
  • 8 Legnano Long stem artichokes;
  • 1 clove garlic;
  • 2 peeled tomatoes;
  • Chopped parsley;
  • Olive oil;
  • Salt;
  • Chili pepper;
  • a little white wine;
  • 1 Lemon;



In a pan pour a few tablespoons of olive oil with onion and garlic.

Fry lightly and add the drained artichokes. Flavored them with white wine and let evaporate.

Put the tomatoes, chili pepper, 2 glasses of hot water, salt, cover and bring to a slow cooking for few minutes.

Before serving, sprinkle with chopped parsley.
